My name is Michelle. I’m a stay at home mom from Oklahoma, who was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 2 years ago. The day after my diagnosis, I went gluten free. No last pizza. No last donut. Eating those things was too painful and I now knew how to fix it, so I woke up the next morning to a new life.
I got rid of all gluten in my life. (Or so I thought.)
All was good for a year. The gluten was gone and I was feeling 100% better. I was the old me. But I was still having small stomach problems. Not nearly like they were. But just enough that I was in pain and had to cancel going different places.
When you live gluten free, you have to read the labels of everything that goes in your mouth. But I have never really looked in to what goes ON my lips. I saw my G.I. doctor and we did another blood test. Even with eating completely gluten free (I have never purposely put gluten in my body since being diagnosed) my blood work said I still was getting gluten in my system.
So he said I HAD to find gluten free lipsticks. That’s the only thing we could trace my gluten contamination to.
I was so excited when I found your website. And then I read the reviews and couldn’t WAIT to get my new lip gloss and lip balm. I got it two days ago and am absolutely in love. Not only is Dancing Princess a gorgeous color of lip gloss, my lips are so smooth! I love how it feels!
I have 4 close friends who have recently been diagnosed with Celiac as well, and I can’t wait to tell them about you!! They will be thrilled!
So I thank you so much for realizing the need of gluten free products. I hope you come out with more shades and more products. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
