Four Looks Using Our New Summer Eyeshadows!

image_11

Let me just say right now that our new summer eyeshadows are awesome! The colors are richer in person and go on oh-so smoothly. I had the chance to play around with them a little bit today and came up with four looks that are really easy to re-create. Since these eyeshadows were designed to work together I thought it would be great to have each look build off of the last. Essentially, taking your look from day to night.

LOOK #1:
The first look is the most simple and easiest to achieve. It’s something that can easily be worn this summer while either running errands or lounging by the pool.

summerlook1Step 1: Lightly apply E43 dry all over the lid.

Step 2: With a slightly damp eyeshadow brush, apply E43 again – but this time just focus the color in the crease to add a little depth.

LOOK #2 :
This second look is again really easy and simple. I would wear this for a day hanging out at the beach or having a blast at an amusement park. Personally, if I’m going to be at a beach or amusement park, I don’t want to fuss too much with my makeup but I still like to play up my eyes.

Step 1: Repeat steps 1 & 2 from Look #1

Step 2: All you’ll be doing here is taking E41 and adding it to the outer corner and crease to add some warmth to your eyes. E43 and E41 look great together!

LOOK # 3
The third look is really pretty interesting in person. As you can see in the picture, it adds a little almost silverfish sheen. I would totally wear this when going out to lunch or the movies.

Step 1: Repeat steps 1 & 2 from Look #1

Step 2: Repeat step 2 from Look #2

Step 3: Apply E44 to the inner corner and along your upper lash line.

LOOK#4
This is the most dramatic look  of them all, making it the perfect look for that hot summer’s night, going out on the town.

Step 1: Repeat steps 1 & 2 from LOOK# 1

Step 2: Repeat step 2 from LOOK #2

Step 3: Repeat step 3 from LOOK # 3

Step 4: Take E42 and very lightly apply this to your crease

Step 5: Use our Black Eyeliner Pencil  and line your upper lash line

Step 6: Using a slightly damp angled eyeliner brush, take E42 and apply it over the top of the black liner. This results in such an amazing eyeliner color! To me it looks like a rich fig/plum color.

Do they all have a sheen to them? Also, they all seem to have a purple tinge in the pictures. Is this accurate? Thanks for sharing, Ashley. They look like beautiful colors!

      Hi Lezlie!

They do have a sheen to them. The purple is mostly just my eyelid color showing through. That’s where a primer comes in handy :)
