Celiac Awareness Night with the Phillies!

If you are looking for a fun family night out this summer, what could be better than taking the family to a baseball game?  How about going to a Philadelphia Phillies game?

On July 20, 2012 at 7:05pm, the Phillies are hosting the San Francisco Giants at Citizens Bank Park- and this is a special “Celiac Awareness” event!  All the food and drinks served will be gluten free!  Net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit celiac research and awareness programs.

Speaking of ticket sales, tickets for this event are not expensive at all!  They range in price from $28 to $38.  That is not a lot to pay to see a professional sporting event.  To top it off, it’s an evening that benefits celiac awareness AND gluten free food will be provided?  Sounds like a home run to me!

It’s never to early to start planning your summer vacation.  If you are planning a vacation this summer, think about making a stop in Philadelphia to take in a this baseball game and make some memories with your children.   My dad used to take me to see the Oakland A’s all the time as a kid and those were some of the happiest times of my life.  There is nothing more American than baseball.  Being able to take your kids to a gluten free night of baseball and fun is sure to be the highlight of your summer!

Now, everyone join in:  “Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd….”
