We compiled a list of our favorite beauty product organizer ideas à la Pinterest that we’re sure you’ll love. Let’s make 2013 the year of organization and radiant beauty! Let’s face it; you’re going to have a lot of Red Apple Lipstick to organize!
Tip #1: Mini Drawers
Use an inexpensive set of mini drawers that you can keep in your bathroom or by your vanity. Keep lipsticks in one drawer, lip glosses in the other and your mineral powder eye shadows on top. Not only will it cut down on time that you spend rummaging around in your makeup bag every morning, but it’ll add a cute flair to your space.
Tip #2: Pretty Plates
If you have the space to do it, decorative and colorful plates are a pretty way to display your makeup. You can mix up the colors and patterns any way you want! Then everyone will be able to envy your collection of Z-Palattes!
Tip #3: Recycle Old Candleholders Or Mugs
Try an old, favorite mug or cute candleholder to store your brushes, mascaras and eyelash curlers. Just think how easy it’ll be to find exactly what you need.
Tip #4: Invest In A Drawer Organizer
You can find these at almost any office supply store. Just slip it in your drawer, and organize each divider by type of makeup or color. Voila!
Tip #5: Add A Tray
You can add an easy vintage look by perusing your local antique or second-hand store for an old-fashioned serving tray. These pretty things will be the perfect pedestals for your fave products.
Tip #6: Repurpose That Old Whiteboard
Either use the whiteboard from the depths of your storage closet, or go buy a cheap one from the store. Add a patterned fabric over the top, and glue some magnets to the back of your makeup products … instant magnetic makeup board.
Tip #7: Add Expiration Labels
Using small stickers, go through your makeup bag and label each product with its expiration date. And while you’re at it, toss the out-of-date stuff. Never use gross, expired makeup again.
Tip #8: Bring It All Together
Personalize your space with wrapping paper. Got a medicine cabinet? Remove the shelves momentarily, and cover the back with patterned paper for an automatic pop of color. You can do the same with the bottom of your drawers or inside of shelves. Have fun with it!
